Overall, my experience with the school was quite negative. I attended for one semester and decided to transfer out, along with most of my friends. Many people on my dorm floor also transferred out by Thanksgiving break. While it might be convenient for those from the local area who can go home easily, the school is not ideal for those seeking a traditional college experience. The campus felt more like a continuation of high school rather than a new chapter. I encountered a lot of unkind and even hostile behavior from fellow students. Additionally, there weren't many clubs or extracurricular activities to get involved in. The food quality was poor, the dorms were subpar, and the campus is remote. Safety was another major concern; I never felt comfortable walking around at night, and there were instances of car break-ins during my time there. Attending this school was one of my biggest regrets, and I would strongly advise reconsidering if it's your top college choice.

Im currently a freshman here and have decided on transferring out. I came here from teachers suggestions in high school. I am not local. This campus is isolating, lonely, and depressing. During my time here i was diagnosed with depression when I wasn't before. A beautiful campus but a lonely one. The food is horrible, the meal plan is terrible for the raw food you are constantly served that makes you sick. If you dont have a car or spare money, good luck getting anything else as you are 30+ mins away from anything down a windy beat up road. The professors are mediocre with a few gems here and there. I am an art major and felt singled out, unsupported, and discouraged in my journey. I felt one of my art professors was extremely unprofessional and treated me like a senseless child. The dorm living isnt fantastic, with water lines busting, terrible wifi, and no guaranteed heat or cold. This is a decent college for locals but nobody else. If youre looking for a sign not to go, this is it.
